Are you interested in joining the Barnby Choir and singing some of the great Choral Works? If so, join us as we start our exciting new season on Tuesday 15 September. The first few weeks will be especially ‘New Singers Friendly’ so there’s no better time to step up, try us out and get singing.
We will be rehearsing Rutter’s Magnificat, together with excerpts from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and other music for our Christmas concert on Sunday 13th December 2026.
On Sunday 14 March 2027 we will be singing Haydn’s Insanae et vanae curae, Mozart’s Thamos, King of Egypt and a new Missa Fidelis by our conductor Lloyd Buck, all well worth getting to know. And on Sunday 23 May 2027 we will be performing Bob Chilcott’s Gloria and Aesop’s Fables following a wonderful Singing Day with Bob this year.
Choir rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 8.00 to 9.45 pm in Wilmslow Methodist Church SK9 5AR. If you are interested, do please get in touch or just arrive and we’ll take it from there. No strings attached!
